On May 3, 23 and 31, 2014, regional consultations were held in Laguna, Bacolod and Cagayan de Oro City in preparation for the Fluid States Performance Studies international (PSi) Festival in 2015.

PSi Philippines curator Prof. Jazmin Llana, PhD who is also current Head of the The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) – Committee on Dramatic Arts discussed the PSi global performance and the trajectory of Performance Studies as a field and discipline in a globalized village that is geographically and culturally interconnected through bodies of water.

Regional representatives of theater and cultural organizations plotted a “Ro-Ro Journey” route from Mindanao, Visayas, Luzon to NCR for participating artists, cultural workers and scholars from the Philippines and other countries. The National Convergence for PSi Philippines will be hosted by De La Salle University, UP Diliman, Ateneo de Manila and Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) on November 5-8, 2015.

With the support of the NCCA, the consultations were organized by the Luzon Arts and Culture Network (LUSONG) in collaboration with ARTIST Inc., Negros Museum and Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan as part of the Sining at Habi project.#
